The two lines are perpendicular.  The slopes will be negative reciprocals

if the slope of the red line is -2

the slope of the green line is -(1/-2) = 1/2

To check, multiply the two slopes together and they should = -1

(-2) * 1/2 = -1  so they are negative reciprocals and are parallel
