[tex]\frac{3}{4n}-18^{(4n}=\frac{1}{4n}-4^{(4n}\\\\ 3-72n=1-16n\\\\ -72n+16n=1-3\\\\ -56n=-2 \\\\ \boxed{n=\frac{-2}{-56}=\frac{1}{28}}[/tex]

1) Multiply both sides by 4: 3n - 72 = n - 16
2) Subtract n from both sides: 2n - 72 = -16
3) Add 72 to both sides:  2n = 56
n = 28.
