The coordinates of point F are (8, 4) and the coordinates of point G are (−4, 9) . What is the slope of the line that is perpendicular to FG¯¯¯¯¯?

the slope of segment FG is -5/12. since perpendicular lines have slopes that are negative reciprocals the slope of any perpendicular to the segment will be 12/5
