x is less than or equal to 3., so take a filled dot, put it on 3, then draw a line from it towards the left

Because we know x - 5 would equal or be less than 3, your spot on the number line would be on three, with a line to the left. Make sure the dot is filled in though because a filled in dot means less than/greater than or equal to.
